What is an hourly rate?

We offer hourly rates for movers in Boston, MA and Raleigh, NC. Cost is calculated in the estimate, and it includes the delivery with a clean truck, the necessary equipment, furniture disassembling/assembling, and premium protection for furniture and house. We do not charge the customer additional payments for gasoline, transport and road fees, taxes. However, charges may apply for packing materials and any additional services, such as handling of heavy or bulky items (like piano moving), junk removal etc.

Local moves have a minimum charge of 2 hours + travel time, with 15-minute increments.

What is travel time?

Travel time refers to the time it takes for our team to travel to your location and return to our office after the move. This travel time is fixed and will be included in your estimated cost on top of actual labor time, which we will inform you about in advance. It will not change during the moving process.

Is a deposit required?

When placing an order, we require a small deposit, payable by card online or over the phone with a moving consultant. We do not charge for rescheduling , if you notify us before the moving date, provided it’s your first reschedule or you inform us more than two days in advance. However, if you cancel within two days of the move, we may retain the deposit, as outlined in the contract.

What is working time?

The working time is the full time of job that the customer needs to pay for. It includes the time it takes to provide the service, as well as the travel time for our crew to get from our parking lot to the facility and back, with 15-minute increments.
